Daniel Spies grew up in the Netherlands during the vibrant 1980s and ’90s, surrounded by creativity and innovation. At just five years old, he began learning English by playing Sierra's adventure games, like the King’s Quest series. His early vocabulary included words like pebbles, scepter, pouch, diamonds, eagle feather, witch, and gnome—terms that were very handy in PC adventure games, if not so much in everyday life. Still, these games ignited his lifelong passion for storytelling and interactive experiences.

Daniel’s path took a magical turn when he left school to become a professional magician. This career led him to develop intricate magic tricks and cultivate skills in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking. To support his passion, he worked in the music industry, building and maintaining player pianos—a perfect fusion of mechanics and performance.

In 2022, Daniel founded GameImagineering, a company dedicated to creating high-end arcade and virtual pinball machines. Each piece is handcrafted, featuring premium hardware, stunning cabinetry, and meticulous attention to detail.

Since each cabinet is made by hand, he can only produce a limited number each year.
